What does the approved schedule look like?

Why is titration needed at all?

Gastrointestinal effects cluster in the first weeks at each new dose. In SURMOUNT-1, between 4.3% and 7.1% of participants discontinued for an adverse event depending on dose, and that happens during escalation rather than after it. Labelling directs increases as tolerated for exactly this reason.

A provider escalating on a calendar rather than on how you are doing is not following the labelling. That is a clinical question worth raising before a pricing one.

What if I stop at 10 mg?

Both 10 and 15 mg are maintenance options in labelling. Staying at 10 mg is a legitimate clinical outcome, not a failure. On a flat programme it costs the same as 15 mg; on a tiered one it saves a step.
